“Oh? Why’s that?” Wendy felt a kind of pain for the girl for having home pets was as lovely as a freshly bloomed rose. “If I may ask!” She spoke quickly, “What is your home life like? Where you live I mean?” Questions were spilling out of the naive little girls mouth, without any stopping.
“Well, let’s just say my stepmother didn’t like animals. But I don’t live with her anymore. I live with my friends, the dwarves. They took me in, after I ran away,” she smiled sadly, glad that was over. “It’s a very sad story, dear. Believe me, you don’t wish to hear more. I don’t want to alarm you.”

“Why hello! So nice to see so many new friends! My name is Snow White. How do you do?” she smiled, adding a curtsy, as was the polite greeting.
“Ariel. Nice to meet you. I’m great! Meeting so many people!” She smiled back and shook her hand enthusiastically.
“It’s so wonderful to have you here, Ariel! We love having new friends!” she shook her hand, returning her enthusiasm.
“Hello there! How do you do?” she said with a curtsy. “My name is Snow White,” she smiled brightly. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Anya smiled, and returned the curtsy in her orphanage clothing. “Hello, my name is Anya, its nice to meet you as well.”
“That’s a very pretty name, Anya!” she smiled. “May I ask where you’re from, dear? I do love getting to know my new friends.”
